Warranty

Highfields Offroad warrants your purchase of a new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 years or 20,000km (whichever comes first) from your date of purchase. Where time and kms have been specified in the warranty table, the period warranted will always be the earlier of these two events.

It is a condition of the warranty that the product has been correctly installed by suitably qualified personnel and is used in accordance with accompanying instructions where provided (for example - if there has been loading of the product with weight in excess of the product information and/or manufacturers’ instructions).

This warranty will no longer apply where Highfields Offroad considers (acting reasonably) there has been damage to the product as a result of an accident (for example collision), product alterations/modifications, incorrect installation, misuse, abuse or neglect. Additionally this warranty will not apply where there have been any alterations to the vehicle from the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications, instructions or manual or the product purchased is not suitable for use on the vehicle.

The warranty is applicable for domestic household users only. Use of the product in racing, competition or for any commercial purposes is not covered by this warranty.

Highfields offroad will provide you with a repair or exchange (where possible) for the product if it becomes defective during the warranty period; however the cost of removal and replacement is not covered by this warranty. You are required to pay for any expenses you incur in making or pursuing a claim under the warranty (including the costs of delivering the product you consider to be defective to Highfields Offroad). The choice of repairing or replacing a defective product under warranty is at the absolute discretion of Highfields Offroad.

Highfields Offroad will not be liable to you or any third party in respect of any claim for injury, death, loss or damage to any person or property caused or arising out of the use of products sold by us, except to the extent that liability is imposed upon us by any statutory provisions that cannot be excluded.

Whilst Highfields Offroad ensures all our products comply with relevant mandatory product safety standards, it is the sole responsibility of the purchasers to ensure their purchased product is suitable for use under the relevant law and regulations in their respective jurisdictions.

Making a claim

Warranty claims may be made by delivering the product you consider to be defective, your original purchase receipt or invoice and a copy of your installation form to:

Australian Competition Law

This Highfields Offroad warranty is in addition to any rights which you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) which cannot be excluded by agreement.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For claims under warranty for products purchased outside of Australia, Highfields Offroad Products will comply with any statutory provisions that cannot be excluded by agreement, in the country of purchase.
